I have been having fun with film and photography since I was a kid. I now enjoy collaborating with filmmakers to tell stories that touch people and move them to action.
I work with creators in Chicago and the Midwest to edit their shorts for TV and film, social media videos and commercials using Premiere Pro, Avid, After Effects, and Davinci Resolve. I edit shorts so that they can be viewed by the widest possible audience, including those who identify as disabled, blind, d/Deaf, and neurodiverse.
I also collaborate with professional service firms, media outlets, and non-profits to edit their film footage for websites and social media platforms.

Caroline tackled the edit for a challenging script in my Editing Studio course. Both my students and I had doubts about whether the humor in this script would work. But Caroline's final product succeeded in placing the actors' performances into a smartly edited, well-timed sitcom, where the laughs landed as intended.
